FitLink is a digital application created to link Certified fitness trainers from around the country to clients who want to get in shape and learn from professionals.
FitLink is a social media platform created to link Certified fitness trainers from around the country to clients who want to get in shape and learn from professionals about fitness.
AUDIENCE
FitLink serves 2 audiences, so it also is 2 apps. Trainers and Clients.
CLIENT APP
The Client or User app matches clients to trainers based off of preferences set during account creation. Clients are able to browse trainers they are matched with and choose from subscription training plans that have been set up by FitLink Trainers, through the trainer app.
TRAINER APP
The trainer app allows any certified fitness trainer to apply to host and sell their training plans on FitLink. Once trainers have been reviewed and approved to work on FitLink, they are able to set up their profile and training plans.

USER PERSONA
Jack Martin is a 42 year old guidance counselor who has recently booked a trip to Hawaii for his family. Before the trip he wants to get in shape and feel good about himself. He has a gym membership, but hasn’t gone in months because he isn’t sure what to do when he’s there. He sees an ad for FitLink that a friend has shared on FaceBook. Jack thinks “This looks interesting.” He decides to download the app and sign up.

TRAINER PERSONA
Gina Alexander is a group fitness trainer and she has been teaching classes for years. She uploads workouts regularly to her Instagram and has somewhat of a following. Gina sees that some of the other trainers she follows have been able to monetize their social media by promoting “health” products that she knows are scams. She would like to earn money from the content that she shares but doesn’t want to promote anything or try to sell products to her followers. She see’s another trainer on Instagram post about FitLink and decides that she wants to apply to become a trainer.
